Software Engineer
We here at Cheetahmail are looking for talented, self-motivated Perl developers to help us tirelessly improve our industry leading web application. We are a true “Perl Shop” and love talking to candidates who are passionate about using it. Our collaborative teams solve difficult problems that must scale to work over large volumes of data.
We have opening(s) for software engineers, who will be responsible for working with our Industry leading Web Application. Our application uses a unique blend of open-source technologies and languages ranging from traditional to cutting-edge. If you enjoy working in a dynamic, challenging atmosphere with a team of bright and passionate people, this is the job for you.
Primary job responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
Requirements – Perl or C
- Object Oriented programming
- Linux/Unix
- Apache
- SQL (Oracle preferred, Sybase, MySQL, or Postgres are fine as well)
- Experience working with large volumes of data
- Good written and spoken communication skills are preferred.
- Candidates should have B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Educational Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Technical Requirements
The OO Perl and/or C are what matters most – but we love to see candidates who have additional skills or are willing to learn them…
