Visual Designer
Experian CheetahMail is looking for a Visual Designer with strong sense for design to join our team. You will be responsible for defining the visual layout, graphic elements, and ensuring the consistency of the look-and-feel of the application. You will work with the Product Management, Client Services and Development teams to execute new application functionality and help drive a user-centric design. This position requires a true team player with strong relationship skills, coupled with a demonstrated track record of designing high quality user interfaces for enterprise software applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the visual design of one or more sections of the application.
- Establish and enforce a consistent look-and-feel for the application.
- Communicate effectively to present new ideas and argue merits of one design over another.
- Work in a cross functional team to define new features to the application.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years in visual design, interaction design, or a related area.
- Work samples or a portfolio demonstrating strong knowledge of design theory and experience with web-based, enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated abilities to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-departmental teams.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced envrionment without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Familiarity with both agile and plan-driven development processes are a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (Extjs & jQuery) a plus.
